Mt. Malimumu, Pantaron Range was declared as Local Conservation Area and San Fernando Ecotourism Site of the Municipality of San Fernando Bukidnon. This forest over ultramafic Rocks is blessed with beautiful Biodiversity and Natural Resources. rich in Culture and Tradition.

It is the Sanctuary of Pitcher Plants. Home of 3 New Species of Pitcher Plants, a new found species of Snake tongue Fern and the home of Majestic Philippine Eagle Tagoyaman Fernando. Mt. Malimumu has 659 species of plants, 142 species of vertebrates, 410 species of invertebrates, 67 Threatened FLORA and 123 Endemic FLORA. 81 Threatened FAUNA and 119 Endemic FAUNA.

PADILLA VIES FOR LAGA TA BUKIDNON 2022​

San Fernando, Bukidnon – Municipal Tourism Office headed by Laurencia S. Edma through its Focal person, Michael Angelo P. Mendio facilitates the entry of the municipal candidate to the yearly pageant in Bukidnon popularly known as Laga Ta Bukidnon, where 20 municipalities and two cities will compete for the crown as part of the Kaamulan Festival 2022. Our official entry is a 23-year-old beauty engaged in teaching profession in Halapitan National High School, San Fernando, Bukidnon whose both parents are likewise connected in the Department of Education. She’s charmingly named as Lizzanne Kate B. Padilla.

Municipal Laga Ta Bukidnon team with Michael Mendio on the lead, pays courtesy call to the Municipal Mayor’s Office and to the Sangguniang Bayan of the municipality during their weekly session. Mendio introduces Padilla to the council expressing full support to the candidate of the municipality. Much to the delight of the team when the Municipal Council represented by Hon. Dante C. Dy pronounced all out support for our candidate.


The pageant is slated on April 6, 2022 at the Kaamulan Theatre, Malaybalay City through virtual presentation.


As part of their protocol, the management is allowing only 10 representatives to attend in the pageant venue during the big night to include the Municipal Mayor, Tourism coordinator, Tourism in-Charge, parents of the candidate, the coach and some other representatives.
