RA 11934 or the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Act, which takes effect on Dec. 27, the first law signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., aims to regulate the registration and use of SIMs by mandating all end-users to register their SIMs with their respective telecommunications networks before their activation.

LGU San Fernando together with NTC, will conduct SIM registration assistance to those who don’t have their internet connection and are not able to do self registration.
